Claims and Team Endorsed
Kia ora Member,
Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote to endorse the claims, bargaining team and ratification process for your 2022 NZNO/Te Whatu Ora Collective Agreement negotiations.
It was great to see that this ballot had a higher level of member participation than the one leading into the 2020 negotiations. The result was also very clearly in support of the proposed claims, team and process. This means the team can go into bargaining knowing they have the support of the wider Te Whatu Ora NZNO membership in terms of the direction we are taking into these negotiations.

NZNO membership is also higher than it was in 2020 which also puts us in a good position. Please talk with any workmates you have who are not NZNO members and encourage them to join us.
The claims we are taking into these negotiations go back to fundamental issues of fairness, respect and safety. We know from experience that members might have to take collective action in support of our claims. Negotiations start today in Wellington and we will keep you updated on progress and next steps.
Ngā mihi,
Paul Goulter, Chief Executive
