NZNO-HNZ CA Negotiations Day 7

Over the previous two days small groups comprising both NZNO delegates and HNZ representatives have held discussions around nurse in charge, HCA professional development and clinical supervision. These weren't formal negotiations but these have been useful in progressing the claims around these three issues.

Today was back to formal negotiations with discussion around HCAs working in mental health settings, senior nurse relativity issues caused by the interim pay equity rates and payments. Discussions around pay increases will continue tomorrow.
