In the morning introductory formalities were completed.

During our lunch break, your negotiation team members applied the Maranga Mai principles and joined our Wellington striking PHC and Plunket colleagues in support of their pay parity claim to be paid the same as HNZ nurses. Some of these members are currently earning up to 25% less than their HNZ colleagues.

Further discussions took place with the HNZ team and we will be presenting our claims proper to them tomorrow.
